from 313 reviewsOrdered the Bead Bro, because I was having a nightmare installing the Pirelli Cinturato Velo on the front carbon wheel for Allez Elite. Tried every tire tool I had with no success. I remembered I bookmarked this site, and reading up on the Bead Bro. Decided to buy the Bead Bro, and give it a try, and if it didn't work, it didn't painfully hurt my pocketbook. Fortunately, this tool was a blessing! Ordered a second Bead Bro just in case I get in tighter situations.
Bought for my 14 year old son who was going through two tires a weekend riding gnarly Eastern Sierra downhill — no flats since and he loves the additional control he gets with Cushcore.
Awesome! Definitely can feel the difference. Stronger, gripper and more maneuverable. Took it on a long 3000 ft descent and felt a lot less fatigue.
I live and ride in Pheonix, AZ a few times a week and have cush core in my EVO and just picked up a used e-bike and immediately purchased an e-bike set for it. I always use cush core in the front and rear to improve ride quality and traction while cornering in addition to the obvious flat protection. It is a must have in my honest opinion.
This is my second set of Cush core and it gives me more confidence in turns and has saved me a few times from rim damage. It has also gotten me down the hill when I got a slow leak in my tire. I would recommend them to anyone who rides bike parks!
I ride a 62 lbs e-bike. To make things worse I am a very heavy rider. So without hesitation I always run Down Hill casings and Cush Core. This lets me do drops, jumps and send it without concern for my wheels!
I used only for a full day the cushcore pro in my usual bike park trails. It looked like they flattened during the night the small bumps producing vibrations through the arms and body. I am way less tired after a few hours.
very good product does everything as promised and makes my bike feel planted and predictable however putting it in is a nightmare and i had to take it to a shop
I’ve punctured my rear tire twice in a row on my 29 plus salsa despite running higher pressures than usual, last time I thought I would end up walking back to the lot because it wouldn’t seal. With cushcore installed, I’m back to my regular pressures (around 12-14 psi) and it feels great, no punctures and keeps my rims protected.
New trail system is the best balance of sidewall support and reduced weight.
