An absolute must!

Gravel isn’t the same without a CUCHCORE. Having the ability to drop pressures and still get that rim protection means you can really rip the descents. I’d highly recommend anyone without an insert sets these. It will be game changing! Cushcores best product IMO.

No brainer, just do it.

Using the gravel.cx cushcore on my gravel racing wheels has saved me from disaster in my races more than a few times. Very easy to install and they just simply work.

If your tire is big enough, go big or go home

I have been running cush core in all my bikes for a good few years now. And the thing that I have found on my gravel bike since the gravel tires have gone bigger, I went for a XC insert instead and damn! LOVED IT!

I relied on the Gravel CushCore every day I commuted through Nairobi. Before I switched to tubeless, the first week there I went thru 3 tubes with pinch flats and punctures. Once I was rolling on CushCore, I had zero issues for the remaining 16 months I was there. I now use them on my 14 mile (each way) commute through Washington DC, which got me home after a sidewall puncture. They pay for themselves when you don’t miss work or have to call a cab to come get you.

I converted to tubeless on my all-road/gravel bike in the fall of 2021. There was a promotion around New Years in Jan for a set of inserts + color valve stems + the tool for the $ 150. I put a set of Gravel/CX inserts for my new tires (700x38 Panaracer Gravel Kings on Knight Composite 38TLA wheels). Setup was hard at first. Getting the insert on the rim, inside the tire is challenging if you've never set these up before. After a few Youtube searches/Reddit conversations, I figured out the technique on the first wheel. The second wheel set up was a breeze. Tires seated, inject sealant, air-up and I'm off and rolling.
Basically purchased these to protect my nice carbon rims and for a sense of security on rough terrain.
Have about 4,000 miles with these inserts in my tires. They run great of the really rough stuff from wash-board gravel to chunky gravel roads to cracked chip-n-seal. Thinking of getting another set up for my winter alloy wheels. Probably the best of the available insert options. Tried the Vittoria gravel equivalent. These seem to provide more protection and comfort. Highly recommended! Great product!
